Teri La Pass Trekking

The hidden valley of Nar Phu has been open to foreigners since 2002 and the high pass Teri La (5582m) crossing into Upper Mustang is a trail that has been rarely used by trekkers so far. Nar Phu Valley lies north of the Annapurna mountain range, in the border area to Tibet. It is home to some very old villages and Tibetan monasteries and offers visitors an insight into centuries old Tibetan culture and traditions.
The trek starts from Koto to Nar Phu Valley, into Damodar Kunda area, across Teri La and into Upper Mustang and Lo Manthang, the ancient capital of Upper Mustang. The mountain views along the route are fantastic and we will be passing through very diverse landscapes, from jungle to alpine areas and the dry moonscape like scenery of Upper Mustang.
This trek is only possible by camping as there are no settlements in different places along the route.
