Everest area Trekking

Everest Area in the Northeast part of Nepal is one of the most famous trekking regions in the world, hosting Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain with 8848m, and the region being home also of the Sherpa people.
The main area of the Everest region is protected through the Sagarmantha National Park which was established in 1976. It offers a unique walking, trekking, hiking and climbing experience in the Himalayan natural world heritage sites and incredible views of white snowy peaks.
There are a number of trekking options in the Everest region. Apart from the well known Everest Base Camp Trek you can trek to the Gokyo Lakes, across Renjo pass and other passes or combine the different options depending on how much time you have.
Physically this trek is hard because of the walking duration in high altitude areas.
The best views can be seen from Namche, Syambuche, Khumjung, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gokyo Ri, and Kalapataar.
