Pathibhara Temple Trail

The Pathibhara trail is a pilgrimage tour to Pathibhara Devi temple in Taplejung, in the east of Nepal the foothills of Kanchenjunga. The Hindu Goddess Pathibhara is believed to fulfil the long cherished dreams of her devotees. The temple is worshipped with equal reverence by both Hindus and Buddhists. Hindus throng the temple during special celebrations, while Buddhists living in the vicinity light lamps at the temple on full moon days.
We start and end the trek in Suketar, which can be reached by flight from Kathmandu via Biratnagar. Along the way we can enjoy beautiful views of the Kanchenjunga range and Janu Himal. There is also the possibility for bird-watching in the jungle.
