Manaslu Trekking

Mt Manaslu is located east of the Annapurna range. The Manaslu circuit is considered one of the more challenging treks in Nepal and offers a perfect combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed Himalayan beauty and a rich mountain bio-diversity. It was in this region where in 1987 Eric Valli and Diane Summers shot the beautifully photographed documentary "Honey Hunters of Nepal". The trail opened to foreign trekkers in 1992 and became a full tea house trek only a few years ago.
From our starting point at Arughat (approx. 800m) we gradually ascend through the Buri Gandaki river valley to Larke La pass (5161m), accompanied by amazing views of Himalchuli (7893m), Manaslu (8163m), Ganesh Himal (7422m) and other mountains, beautiful landscape and diverse flora and fauna. As it is a difficult trek it requires a good physical condition and some trekking experience would be useful.
Some treks of shorter duration are also possible in the Manaslu region. Please contact us for more information.
